Failure to provide certain data may result in limited functionality of the App or Account services.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Performance of a Contract: To provide the services you request through the App or Account.
- Legal Obligations: To comply with tax reporting and other statutory requirements, including sharing data with the Local State Tax Authority (VMI).
- Legitimate Interests: To improve the App and Account’s functionality, secure the platform, and share relevant performance data with restaurant managers.

4. Purposes of Data Processing
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing App and Account Functionality: Enabling account login, administering Greet accounts, viewing orders, payments, tips, and reviews.
- Facilitating Tips Withdrawal: Processing financial data to transfer collected tips to your designated IBAN.
- Compliance with Legal Obligations: Sharing data with the Local State Tax Authority (VMI) to comply with automatic tax declaration requirements (if enabled).
- Performance Monitoring: Sharing aggregated performance metrics and collected tips amounts with restaurant managers.
- User Support and Communication: Responding to inquiries, resolving technical issues, and providing updates regarding your Account or the App.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We disclose personal data only as follows:
- Local State Tax Authority (VMI): When users enable automatic tips tax declaration, we share required data in compliance with tax regulations.
- Restaurant Managers: Limited data, such as performance statistics and tips amounts, is shared with the designated administrator of the restaurant’s Greet account.
- Service Providers: We may engage third-party processors to support the functionality of the App and Account (e.g., hosting providers, payment processors), ensuring they are bound by data protection agreements.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or in response to valid legal requests, such as subpoenas or court orders.
6. Data Subject Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Access: Request confirmation whether we process your data and access a copy of the data we hold.
